I have been very prone to urinary infections and cystitis for a long time and I have been taking D-mannose (the main component) for at least two years and I can say that I have never had it again.
D-mannose is a component that acts as a 'protective layer' in the bladder that prevents bacteria from sticking and therefore you end up expelling them when urinating, thus preventing an infection.
It is worth every penny it costs, because both as a preventive measure and for treating mild cystitis it works super well, but it does not replace antibiotics in case of infection.
