Composition
URGO BURNS: Flesh-colored, stretchable non-woven support with polyester mesh impregnated with hydrocolloid particles (carboxymethylcellulose) and petrolatum.How to use
URGOSTRIPS:
1. Clean, disinfect, wash and carefully dry the wound and its surrounding area.
2. Cut the band using clean, disinfected scissors.
3. Carefully place the dressing, avoiding any folds.
4. Renew at least twice a day and after each shower.
URGO BURNS:
Clean the wound with an alcohol-free antiseptic
Rinse with water or saline solution.
Dry the wound with a sterile compress.
If possible, leave the blister undisturbed, as it acts as a barrier against infection. If it ruptures, disinfect it. It's not necessary to remove the dead skin if it doesn't come off on its own.
Apply the URGO Burn dressing to the affected area.
The treatment normally lasts 5 to 6 days, with a dressing change at 24 hours and then every 48 hours.
