Composition
PATCHES: PU film, hydrocolloid adhesive formulation H014. Contains rosin. FILMOGEL: Cellulose derivative, mineral acid, carboxylic acid, vegetable oil, alcohol, and water.How to use
PATCHES:
Wash your hands before and after each use.
Clean the infected lip area and make sure it is dry before applying.
Do not apply creams or lotions.
- Separate the patch from the blister pack.
- Remove the first half of the white protective paper without touching the adhesive part.
- Apply the first part of the patch to the cold sore, centering it on the affected area. Once the patch has been applied to the affected area, carefully remove the remaining second part from the white protective paper.
- Smooth the patch until it is firmly in place. Rub the patch with your fingers to warm it and improve its initial adhesion to the skin. The product may discolor as exudate is absorbed. The dressing can remain in place for up to 5 days in the absence of infection.
- To remove the patch, carefully lift one side of the patch and gently peel it off.
- If there is any discharge around the patch, change it as needed.
FILMOGEL:
- Apply the necessary dose to cover the fever, using a disposable applicator (use and throw away) on clean skin.
- Allow to dry for 1 to 2 minutes to allow the film to form. Drying time depends on the amount of product applied.
A discreet film will form over the fever.
This Filmogel® liquid dressing is used in the initial phase (tingling, swelling, itching, burning…) up to 4 times a day, to reduce the outbreak of the fever.
For the following stages of treatment, proceed with the application as often as necessary, depending on the adherence of the film to the skin and lips: 2 to 4 applications per day at most.
Continue treatment until complete healing.
