Composition
Liquid Dressing: Cellulose derivative, carboxylic acids, mineral acid, alcohol, water, fragrance, sucralose. Cold Sore Patch: PU film, hydrocolloid adhesive formulation H014. Contains rosin.How to use
Urgo Cold Sore Patches 18 units:
Wash your hands before and after each use.
Clean the infected lip area and make sure it is dry before applying.
Do not apply creams or lotions.
- Separate the patch from the blister pack.
- Remove the first half of the white protective paper without touching the adhesive part.
- Apply the first part of the patch to the cold sore, centering it on the affected area. Once the patch has been applied to the affected area, carefully remove the remaining second part from the white protective paper.
- Smooth the patch until it is firmly in place. Rub the patch with your fingers to warm it and improve its initial adhesion to the skin. The product may discolor as exudate is absorbed. The dressing can remain in place for up to 5 days in the absence of infection.
- To remove the patch, carefully lift one side of the patch and gently peel it off.
- If there is any discharge around the patch, change it as needed.
Liquid Dressing:
- Apply the product to the lesion using the applicator spatula so that it completely covers the entire area to be treated.
- Leave to dry for 10 seconds with your mouth open until a visible film forms. If the lesion is not well covered, repeat the process.
- Apply URGO AFTAS Filmogel® as often as needed. Up to 4 times a day, preferably before meals, until healing is complete (3 to 5 days).
