      Trofolastin Scar Reducer 5x7.5cm 2x5 units

      These adhesive dressings are indicated for the treatment of hypertrophic and keloid scars.

      They reduce the appearance of scars and protect them from solar radiation (SPF50+).

      They are made of polyurethane composed of 2 layers:

      - The outer surface is a microporous polyurethane membrane.

      - The inner surface is an adhesive acrylic film to facilitate attachment to the skin.

      They can be used on recent and old scars, caused by burns, surgery, etc.

      It does not contain medications.

      They are water resistant .

      Furthermore, they can be trimmed to adapt their size to the desired area.

      Contains 5 dressings.

      Measurements : 5 x 7.5 centimeters.

      Tech Tip
      • If redness, pain, or irritation occurs, discontinue use of the dressing.
      • Do not use on third-degree burns. Do not use on open wounds.
      • The dressing is water-resistant if it is applied without creases and all edges are secured to the surrounding healthy skin.
      • The dressing is for single use only.
      • If the dressing starts to peel off, replace it with a new Trofolastin Scar Reducer dressing.

      How to use

      1. Wash your hands before using the dressing. Clean and dry the scar area carefully.

      2. Open the sachet and gently separate the protective layers. Place the dressing evenly over the scar, ensuring that no folds form and that all edges are secured to the skin.

      3. If it is necessary to trim the dressing to adapt the size before placing it, the protective layer should not be separated before cutting and it should be ensured that it is large enough to adhere to the healthy skin surrounding the scar.

      4. Once placed, the Trofolastín Scar Reducer dressing can remain fixed to the skin surface for up to seven days depending on the type of scar.

      5. To remove the dressing, gently lift one corner and pull very carefully, lifting the edges of the dressing until it separates from the skin.
