Tech Tip
Each heat cell contains iron (approximately 2 grams). If iron is ingested, consult your doctor immediately.
If iron comes into contact with the skin or eyes, remove the patch, rinse the affected area with water and consult your doctor immediately.
Never heat the product in a microwave or attempt to reheat it by other means, as the patch could catch fire.
Products that emit heat can cause burns.
Check your skin periodically while using ThermaCare. If you notice any signs of irritation or burning, remove the product immediately.
If the patch feels too hot, stop using it or remove it from direct contact with your skin, placing it over a layer of clothing. To test your heat sensitivity, the first application of the patch should be during the day, while you are awake.
The risk of burns increases with age. If you are 55 years of age or older, do not use ThermaCare while sleeping.
Do not put additional pressure on the product (e.g., by leaning on hard surfaces, using it under tight clothing, or with a very tight belt).
Do not use it for more than 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Do not use if you notice thermal cells with loss of contents and/or the patch is damaged or torn.

How to use
1. Only open the protective pouch if you are going to apply ThermaCare. ThermaCare may take up to 30 minutes to reach the desired therapeutic temperature.
2. Place the patch on the area to be treated with the darker side of the heat cells facing the skin and adjust the patch from the front. If you are 55 years of age or older, use ThermaCare over a layer of clothing and do not use it directly on the skin.
3. For greater effectiveness, it is recommended to leave ThermaCare on for 8 hours.
