Composition
Plastic (bottle) and latex (teat)How to use
Instructions for use: Before using the product for the first time, disassemble the individual parts, clean them, and leave them in boiling water for 5 minutes. This measure is to establish hygienic conditions. Before further use, clean it thoroughly to ensure good hygiene conditions. Sterilize if necessary. Store the product in a dry and hygienic place. For cleaning, use NUK detergent or a mild dishwashing detergent for hand washing, and remove food residues even from hidden areas. If necessary, soak the product. Never scratch the inside of the bottle. Rinse well. The teats and bottles are not dishwasher-safe. Detergents may damage the material. Some foods may discolor the materials (e.g., carrot juice) or influence their aroma (e.g., fennel tea), but this does not affect its suitability for use. If the bottle is damaged inside (for example, if it is scratched), it must be replaced for hygienic reasons. When boiling or steam sterilizing, always separate the individual parts of the bottle and leave them open, as otherwise they may become deformed. For steam sterilization, we recommend the NUK Steam Sterilizer or the NUK Microwave Steam Sterilizer. To prevent material deterioration, always follow the steam sterilizer's operating instructions. When disinfecting plastic bottles, the maximum permissible temperature of 100°C (indicated on the bottle) must not be exceeded. Colors that change with temperature are sensitive to moist heat and descaling agents. Sterilizing the product with steam or boiling frequently causes discoloration over time. For the teat: Before each use, check the teat by pulling it in all directions. It should be discarded as soon as the first signs of damage or weak spots appear. Before use, check each time that the vent valve and drinking opening are not blocked by gently pulling them apart. Do not soak it in medicine! Do not expose the teat or bottle to heat or direct sunlight, and do not leave them in disinfectant products (sterilizing solution) for longer than indicated, as this may cause the material to deteriorate or reduce the teat's strength. For hygiene and safety reasons, change the teat every 1 or 2 months. For LATEX teats: made with natural rubber latex. For baby bottles: do not use metal spoons to stir the contents, as this could cause hairline cracks that could later cause the bottle to break. Never use force to open and close the bottle. Replace the bottle as soon as the first signs of damage appear, such as cracks, etc. Always leave the bottle open while it is heating (risk of explosion) and cooling (deformation)! Take extreme care when heating in a microwave; overheating may occur in some areas. Heated foods should always be stirred, and the temperature should be checked before giving them to your baby.
