Composition
Elemental Iron + Medium Chain Triglyceride (MCT) Carrier Oil Concentration: 0.1 ml = 1 mg of elemental ironHow to use
1. Shake vigorously (30 seconds). When well mixed, the solution will be dark in color. If the dose is not consumed within the next 3 minutes, shake again.
2. Draw the desired dose by inserting the dosing syringe into the mouth of the bottle and turning the bottle upside down.
3. Once the dose has been administered, wash the syringe under cold running water.
Recommended daily dose*:
- Premature infants: 0.2 ml/kg/day
- Infants 0-12 months: 0.1 ml/kg/day (do not exceed the dose of 0.5 ml/day – 5 mg/day)
- Children 1-3 years: 1 ml/day
