Lacer® Aligner disinfectant tablets disinfect removable orthodontic appliances, aligners, bruxism splints and other orthodontic appliances.
Over time, your aligner or splint may become contaminated with biofilm (dental plaque).
Using an infected brace or removable splint can cause common symptoms such as halitosis (bad breath), orthodontic or splint stomatitis (oral thrush), and cheilitis (cuts at the corners of the mouth).
Lacer Aligner disinfectant tablets with Nitradine are highly effective against Candida albicans, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus hirae, Adenovirus, Poliovirus, and Murine Norovirus. They have bactericidal, yeasticidal, and virucidal activity.
Rinse the braces or splint under running water. If necessary, use a special toothbrush to remove any food debris.
Place the orthodontics in a glass with 150 ml of warm water to ensure it is fully submerged, then add a tablet to the water.
Submerge it for at least 15 minutes to ensure biofilm reduction.
Remove the device from the solution and rinse well with water before placing it back in your mouth.
Based on clinical trials, we recommend starting treatment with one tablet daily for 21 days.
Afterwards you can adjust your usage according to your needs, with a minimum use of 2 times per week.
