Made without bleaching agents or irritating surfactants, they have high absorbency and permeability. They don't leave any stringy residue.
Gauze can also be used to apply antiseptic products, as it is sterile and avoids the risk of contaminating the wound.

The gauze should be used once the wound protection has been removed and the wound has been properly cleaned, and changed at each dressing change, following the doctor's instructions.
