Composition
Ectodol® Retard is formulated with ectoine, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, high molecular weight sodium hyaluronate, pharmacopoeial quality salts and purified water. 1. Wash your hands thoroughly before application.
2. Peel off a unit from the single-dose container strip.
3. Check that the single-dose container is not damaged.
4. Turn the cap to open the single-dose container.
5. Remove the cap.
6. Tilt your head back and look up.
7. Gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pouch between the eyelid and the eye.
8. Hold the container with your other hand between your thumb and middle finger and gently press to release one or two drops into the eyelid pouch.
9. Blink several times to achieve even distribution of the drops on the ocular surface.
10. If the drop has not entered, apply again.
11. Carefully clean any product that may remain around the eyelid with gauze.
12. Repeat the procedure in the other eye.
13. Discard the opened single-dose container (do not reuse the container once opened for subsequent applications, risk of infection).
