I had my gray roots well exposed and decided to dye them with this natural dye. At first, it was complicated because the box doesn't tell you how much water to use, I had to call the company that makes the product and they explained it to me. It's a bit cumbersome because you have to wash your hair first, then prepare the mixture and see that the texture is like a paste, not too runny that it drips or too pasty that it doesn't distribute well with the dye brush. I used 4.1, and I really don't complain at all, I feel it has covered the grays quite well. I understand that for better coverage, you should first use 4.4 and then the one you want to darken it. I don't have that point well understood, I don't know if you apply it the same day or another day after 4.1?? The instructions on the box are very basic. I think if it works for me, I will switch to this product for being natural without hydrogen peroxide, ammonia, and chemicals that ruin the hair. My hair was soft, with a slight smell of wood or herbs... it detangled without using any rinse or mask.
