ALAsod is a nutrinoal supplement formulated with α-lipoic acid, superoxide dismutase (SOD), vitamin E and selenium that contributes to the protection of the cells in oxidative stress generated by an increase in free radicals.

Oxidative stress is defined as the situation where there is a biochemical imbalance between the production of free radicals with respect to the ability of the endogenous antioxidant system in neutralizing them. This imbalance in favor of the free radicals, involves major alterations in the organism, by damage to cellular, tissue, and systemic level.

Α-lipoic acid is a substance similar to vitamins produced by the human body, also contained in many foods. Known for their documented activity as a Coenzyme in the metabolism, it intervenes and promotes important metabolic cycles such as the production of ATP and the restoration of vitamin E and vitamin C.

Superoxide dismutase (SOD) is a Metalloprotein that catalyzes the reaction of neutralization of superoxide free radical main which is formed after the processes of cellular respiration.

Selenium, a constituent of many enzymes, contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage.

Vitamin E complete antioxidant complex of ALAsod, since it prevents cell damage due to their contribution to the protection of cells against oxidative stress.

Take 1 tablet a day preferably with the main meal.
