Composition
Each Alflorex® Dual Action capsule contains one billion bacteria (1 x 10⁹ colony-forming units, CFU) of Bifidobacterium longum strains 35624™ and 1714™, combined with calcium and a specific selection of B vitamins (B6 and B5 - pantothenic acid). Other ingredients include: bulking agent (corn starch and pregelatinized corn starch), gelling agent (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose E464), and anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate). Food supplement with pharmaceutical-grade ingredients.How to use
Adults and children 3 years and over: take 1 sachet a day, with or without food, at any time of day.
It is recommended to take Alflorex® Dual Action with water, milk or plant-based dairy alternatives.
It is not recommended to take it with hot or acidic drinks, such as some fruit juices, which are generally acidic. The acid can damage the probiotic strains, potentially reducing their effectiveness.
Aflorex® Dual Action capsules are formulated to be swallowed whole. If swallowing is difficult, the capsules can be opened and the contents mixed with cold or lukewarm food or beverages. Do not mix with acidic fruit juices or very hot drinks or food. Fruit juices are generally acidic, and acid can damage strains 35624® and 1714®, as with any other probiotic, potentially reducing their effectiveness.
